Finding and comparing journal impact factors in Journal Citation Reports
From Databases by Title (link below), click on J and then on Journal Citation Reports
Enter the journal title or abbreviated title in the search box. Suggestions will appear as you type, click on the correct title.
You should see information about the journal, the latest journal impact factor, and below that a graph of previous years' impact factors
To see where the journal ranks within a category or categories, scroll down to the section labeled "Rank by Journal Impact Factor".
If you would like to know more about the category, look for a listing of the journal's category or categories in the upper right side of the page. toward the top). Click on the category name to see a list of all journals within that category.
