Resources for Harrison School of Pharmacy

General Information

Ralph Brown Draughon Library (RBD) is the main library on campus and serves the students and faculty of the Harrison School of Pharmacy. It offers:

  • group and individual study rooms
  • quiet study on the 4th floor and the 2nd floor
  • a faculty/graduate student study area on the 3rd floor
  • Panera and the Study ER for snacks, drinks, and supplies

Innvoation and Research Commons (I&RC)

The I&RC is located on the 1st floor of the library and  offers equipment and software for creating and printing course-related posters, and digital video/audio projects. I&RC staff is available to answer questions about data or help you use new software or equipment in the MakerSpace, DataSpace, and  Adobe Creative Space. Circulation

Loan periods for graduate students are 90 days for regular checkouts, 1 day for bound journal checkouts, and 4 hours for wireless laptops, headphones, group study rooms, power and extension cords, dry erase markers, and laptop locks. Graduate students may renew items online or in person up to 3 times prior to the due date.

Library Hours

During fall and spring semesters, RBD library is open 24 hours a day from Sunday at 1 pm to Friday at 6 pm. Saturday hours are normally 9 am to 6 pm but are subject to change on home football game weekends.

Reference Assistance

The library's help desk is located on the 2nd floor of RBD. It is staffed most days from 8 am to midnight by librarians and/or graduate assistants.

You may also request help through the Ask a Librarian service, http://askalibrarian.auburn.edu/. Chat, email, text, and phone assistance are available during reference desk hours.
