What is Readcube?

  • Readcube is a reference management system intended to help researchers find and manage literature, however, it is also being used by libraries to provide quicker access to certain journals at a price less than that currently being paid for interlibrary loan or pay-for-view.
  • The journals available through Readcube are primarily those published by Nature, click the link below to see a list of all Nature journals. Note that current Nature subscriptions will not be included in Readcube, those journals will continue to be accessed as usual. Check the box below to see current Nature journal subscriptions.
  • Readcube can be accessed on or off campus, however, off-campus use will require use of the VPN. Click the appropriate tab at the top to see more information about use on or off-campus.
  • You should use your Auburn email (ending in auburn.edu) to create your ReadCube account.
