Fall 2018

PrivCo Trial

The private company research database PrivCo is now offered on a trial basis through October 17.  PrivCo is a source for business and financial research on major US-based non-publicly traded corporations, including family-owned, private equity-owned and venture-backed companies. PrivCo is searchable by advanced criteria for research, coursework, case studies, and entrepreneurship programs to search for private companies in specific, emerging industries. Career centers also use PrivCo for due diligence, and to search to search for companies that are raising funding and most likely hiring.

Access the trial here: http://www.lib.auburn.edu/tests-trials

New Books List

I have created a guide to all of the new books and ebooks available through Auburn Libraries and it can be found here: http://libguides.auburn.edu/businessbooks.  I recommend you bookmark the new books page and check back regularly to stay up to date on what's new in the library!  If you have any requests for new materials, please let me know.  You can find my contact information on the right side of this page.

Discover Auburn Lecture Series

You are invited to the next iteration of the Discover Auburn Lecture Series on October 4, when Dr. Dana Chandler of Tuskegee University will present "To Raise Up the Man Farthest Down: Tuskegee University's Advancements in Human Health 1881-1987".  You can learn about the Discover Auburn Series, and view past presentations here:  http://www.lib.auburn.edu/discoverauburn/.

This year-long series features programs on Auburn University research, history, and other topics of interest. The series is co-sponsored by the Auburn University Libraries, the Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts & Humanities and the Auburn University Bookstore. Lectures are held in the Special Collections Department of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library.
