What is ReadCube?

  • ReadCube is a reference management system intended to help researchers find and manage literature.  It is also being used by libraries to provide quicker access to certain journals at a price less than that currently being paid for interlibrary loan or pay-for-view.
  • When using Readcube, you have Cloud Access, which means that you can view and print the article.
  • ReadCube can be accessed on or off campus, however, off-campus use will require accessing the journal through the Libraries' catalog or by using a Virtual Private Network (VPN)
  • You should use your Auburn email (ending in auburn.edu) to create your ReadCube account.
