Welcome to the research guide for Landscape Architecture at Auburn University. This guide is aimed primarily at students and faculty in the Landscape Architecture program in the School of Architecture, Planning, and Landscape Architecture.
This guide will introduce you to the range of resources available for researching landscape architecture issues. Initially, the broad scope of information available to you may be overwhelming. Remember that research is an iterative process; it will build on itself and is often better accomplished in multiple small steps rather than all at once. Because the field is so interdisciplinary, many resources may seem irrelevant to your particular needs. Reading a source may point you in a new direction, either by identifying a related concept to search for or following up on a reference in a bibliography. This guide can not list all possible resources, but it is an excellent place to start.
Please let Amy Dye-Reeves (add0076@auburn.edu) know if you have any questions about this guide, Auburn Library services, or research in Landscape Architecture, Community Planning, Building Science, Industrial and Graphic Design, or Architecture.
