What is NVivo?

NVivo is a software program that can be used for qualitative and mixed methods analysis of textual and audiovisual data sources. NVivo can be used to organize, analyze, and find insights in unstructured or qualitative data such as interviews, open-ended survey responses, articles, social media, and web content.

Where can I access NVivo?

NVivo is available in two ways:

  • One workstation in the Innovation & Research Commons on the 1st floor of the RBD Library
  • Seven machines accessible online via the Remote Lab (https://lib.auburn.edu/remotelab/)

For more information, contact the Innovation & Research Commons at irc@auburn.edu or 334-844-7398.
