Radio Digest began as a weekly tabloid format newspaper with program information and industry news. Starting in May,1926 it was converted to a standard magazine format, and issued twice a month and from Summer of 1928 to mid1929, it was a quarterly. Radio Age was published by RCA – the Radio Corporation of America – to promote current and future technological developments and major programming events on NBC.
