What is Digital Scholarship?
Digital scholarship uses digital tools, methods, and/or evidence to conduct inquiry or publish findings in pursuit of scholarly and research goals. It encompasses research that involves methods like data visualization, network analysis, text-analytic techniques, GIS/mapping, and data-mining as well as creating digital collections and publishing through digital platforms.
What about Digital Humanities?
Digital Humanities refers specifically to the application of computing or digital techniques to fields of study in the humanities. It includes not only the use of digital tools, resources, and methods, but also analysis of their application through humanistic lenses.
