Remote Lab

Welcome to the AU Libraries Remote Lab!

Remote Lab is a web-based remote desktop you can access using a Windows or MacOS computer. The remote machines feature nearly all of the library’s Windows software that you would normally use on-site in the Innovation & Research Commons (I&RC), the RBD 2nd floor computers, and the Library of Architecture Design and Construction (LADC).

A few tips before you start:

  1. When accessing a machine, you will need to authenticate using your DUO account.
  2. Allow popups if necessary for
  3. Maximize your browser window and use F11 to go full screen for a better view.
  4. While in a remote session, use cloud storage to transfer files to the remote machine or drag and drop files onto the remote window and they will appear in a drive called Guacamole Filesystem.
  5. If you are idle for 30 minutes, you will be logged out and lose your work.
