Women's Studies : Find Articles

This guide may serve as a starting point for research in the field of Women's Studies.

Find articles using library databases

To find articles specific to women and gender, you may want to begin by searching the library databases listed below. Given the interdisciplinary nature of women and gender studies, you may also want to search additional subject databases here.

List of journals

Auburn University Libraries has varying access to the journals listed in the boxes below.  You'll need to click on a journal link and then check the "Holdings" box on the left-hand side of the page to determine the issues that you can access.

An asterisk after the title indicates that the library currently subscribes to the journal.  If there is no asterisk, the library may have access to some issues, but not the latest ones.  If the library doesn't have an issue that you need, you can submit an Interlibrary Loan request, and we'll try to obtain a copy from another library.

If you don't see the journal you need listed here, you can search the Libraries' catalog or contact Toni Carter ( to confirm whether it's available.
