After installing EndNote, go to the EndNote homepage http://www.endnote.com and select Updates from the Downloads for the latest update for your version of EndNote. Don't skip this step!

Adding references to EndNote
Direct export => From a database (e.g., PsycINFO, Web of Science)
Two-step => From a database (e.g., PubMed, SciFinder) in two steps
From EndNote => Search PubMed and the AU Library catalog from EndNote
Via PDFs => Drag & drop a PDF into EndNote to create an EndNote record
