1, You may select to limit by date of publication. Standard academic practice is to stay within 10 years of today and the last 5 years are preferred.
2. You may need to limit type of publication to “academic journals.” The Peer Review limiter may do most of that for you, but some non-journal publications can be peer reviewed, so this is something to consider.
3. You may select to limit by many other factors such as geography or language, but caution is recommended. Sometimes the article is not indexed with this information. So, selecting English and United States may possibly remove results that are in English and from the United States. Use these limiters with that in mind.
