The AUBURNACHIEVE BRIGHT IDEA rolling seed grant opportunity is designed to provide units from any institution level with analytical support and initial funding to implement a data-informed project or intervention strategy. Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) is a teaching method that connects students and professors from different cultures to learn, discuss, and collaborate as part of a class. COIL is a type of virtual exchange that uses online technology to facilitate sustained student collaboration and increase intercultural competence.

The Concessions Board is allocated $100,000.00 annually from the President’s Office. The money is derived through Auxiliary Enterprises such as vending machines on campus. The purpose of the funds earmarked for dispersal by the Concessions Board is to "Make life at Auburn better for faculty, staff, students, and the community." The Creative Work and Social Impact Scholarship (CWSIS) funding program fosters innovation and discovery and builds faculty reputation and competitiveness. Examples of prestigious recognition for CWSIS include: the McArthur Genius Award, the Gates Foundation Award, appointment to the National Council on the Humanities or the National Council on the Arts, and an NSF Senior Advisor for Public Access. The Research Support Program (RSP) is intended to be an annual cycle funding program to foster the development and growth of innovative and transformational research activities. The RSP builds on faculty expertise, stimulates interdisciplinary collaborations, and strengthens seed research activities.
