Auburn University Libraries permit dues-paying members of the Auburn Alumni Association to check out library materials through Special Borrower privileges, provided they have an active Alumni Member Tigercard.
The following permissions for borrowing physical materials are granted to dues-paying alumni:

| Loan Period: | 28 day loan period for regular checkouts |
| Renewal Limit: | One-time renewal |
| Overdue Fines/Fees: | Daily accrual of fines on all overdue items |
| Database Access/Journal Circulation: | Not Permitted |
| Document Delivery/Interlibrary Loan Privileges: | Not Permitted |
Renewals are only valid if requests are received before the assigned due date and no other item(s) are overdue on the borrower's account. Special borrower accounts are blocked when any fines are accrued.

Alumni Member Tigercards are non-transferable. If you misplace your Alumni Member Tigercard, please immediately notify the Circulation Department and the Office of Identity Management.
