Ralph Brown Draughon Library (RBD) is the main library on campus and serves the students and faculty of the School of Communication and Journalism. It offers:
group and individual study rooms
quiet study on the 4th floor
a faculty/graduate student study area on the 3rd floor
the AU Bookstore Study Essentials (2nd) for snacks, drinks, and supplies
snack machines are on the 1st floor of RBD Library and on all floors of the Mell Classroom Building @ RBD Library
Panera Bread is located on the 2nd floor of RBD Library in the EBSCO Commons
During fall and spring semesters, RBD library is open 24 hours a day from Sunday at 1 pm to Friday at 9 pm. Saturday hours are normally 9 am to 9 pm but are subject to change on home football game weekends.

The RBD Help Desk is located on the 2nd floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library. It is staffed most days from 8 am until midnight by librarians and/or graduate assistants.
You may also request help through the Ask a Librarian service. Chat, email, text, and telephone assistance are available when the RBD Help Desk is open; after hours you may send an email.

The Innovation & Research Commons (I&RC) is a new facility on the 1st floor of RBD Library. It provides access to high-end tools, technologies, and in-person expertise to support innovative research and teaching at Auburn. Not only does it provides access to high-end tools, technologies, and in-person expertise to support innovative research and teaching at Auburn, it also offers equipment and software for creating and printing course-related posters, digital video/audio projects, CDs, and DVDs. Their friendly staff is always on hand to answer questions or help you use new software or equipment.
The I&RC charges for large format printing. It will be $7.00 per page for undergraduate and graduate students.
