RECORDING YOUR TIME USING KRONOS

  • Clock-in using Kronos before doing any work-related duty or task.
  • You can log-in by using the shortcut on the circulation computer, by googling "Auburn University Kronos Login", (which will take you to this page) or by logging into AU Access and selecting "Tigertime".
  • When logging in, do not select the "Transfer" tab, this will not clock you in and a manager will have to manually adjust your timecard.
  • If you have more than one job on campus, make sure you are logging in to the correct job! If you clock-in to the wrong job your current supervisor will need to email HR so that they can adjust your timecard.
  • Do not forget to clock-out at the end of each shift.

Clocking In and Out

__________

Clock in first thing upon arriving and clock out as the last thing you do at the end of your shift!

__________

Clocking in and out is arguably the most important thing to do when working a job.  Clocking in and out ensures that you get accurately compensated for your time and labor while allowing the University to maximize the time for which they are paying you.

To locate Kronos in order to clock in or out you must first locate the "AU Access" link on the Auburn University's website.

There are multiple links to "AU Access" for easy access. The different links are in different locations depending on where you are on Auburn University's website.  One such link can be found at the top of a page

Another link for AU Access can be found at the bottom of some pages under "Online Resources"

Yet another link to "AU Access" can be located at the bottom of some pages under "AU Resources"

Alternatively, you can do a Google search to locate the page.  Search for either "AU Access" or "AU Access Auburn" to locate the page

Occasionally AU Access has difficulty loading, if that happens, open a new tab and search for "Auburn University Kronos", as previously shown.  This will take you directly to Kronos and bypass AU Access resolving the issue.

STEP 3:  Once you "drop" the "My Timecard" tab, the boxes will switch allowing you to view your punches for the week, length of shifts logged, and your cumulative time accrued for the pay period

WARNING!  This button shows that you are logged into AU Access and does not indicate anything to do with whether you are clocked in or not.  Clicking this button will sign you out of AU Access, but will not affect your status of being clocked in or out.

MAKE CERTAIN THAT YOU SIGN OUT AFTER CLOCKING IN OR OUT SO THAT NO ONE ACCIDENTALLY ALTERS YOUR TIMECARD!!!  If you have multiple jobs on campus, you do not need to select the job to clock out.  Once clocked in at a specific job, the system recognizes from which you are clocking out.

If you forget to clock in or out let either Jared or Amy know as soon as possible so that we can correct your timecards.  Having timecard discrepancies will delay your paycheck so keep your timecard accurately up-to-date!
